School visits can provide valuable insight into your child’s movement and participation within their learning environment. These visits allow us to observe classroom and playground dynamics, assess motor skills in real-life settings, and collaborate with educators to support your child’s success. Sessions may involve observation, consultation with school staff, or direct support focused on posture, balance, coordination, mobility, or participation in physical activities. If you are interested in having your child’s physiotherapist observe or provide services at school, we encourage you to speak with your therapist and your child’s school early in the process. School visits require the school’s explicit consent, and many schools have specific policies and paperwork that must be completed before a visit can be approved. This process can take time, so early communication helps ensure a smooth and collaborative approach. Our goal is to work as part of your child’s broader support team—helping them feel confident, capable, and supported in the spaces where they learn and grow. Additional travel fees may apply.
