Home Visit

Description
Home visits can be a valuable way to support your child’s physical development in their natural environment, offering insight into daily routines, movement patterns, and real-time challenges. These sessions may focus on motor skill development, strength and coordination, postural support, equipment use, or practical strategies to help your child move with greater ease and confidence at home. That said, home visits are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not always the most suitable option—particularly for neurodivergent children, for whom the home is often a protected and calming space. Introducing therapy into this environment can be overwhelming for some. If you are interested in a home visit, please speak with your therapist first. We take great care to ensure your child feels safe and supported, and we prioritize building a trusting therapeutic rapport before entering your family’s space. While we understand that travel can be a challenge, coming to the clinic often provides a more consistent and structured environment, and allows us to serve more families within our community. Together, we’ll determine the best setting for your child’s therapy journey. **Additional travel fees may apply.
