Jessica Genest

Jessica is a registered occupational therapist with over fourteen years of experience supporting children and families. Her practice is rooted in helping kids thrive through attachment-based, family-centered care. She works closely with children facing challenges in mental health, motor development, school engagement, sensory processing, self-care, self-regulation, and executive functioning. She has a particular focus on supporting children and youth with complex mental health and neurodevelopmental needs, and she approaches every family with warmth, compassion, and a trauma-sensitive perspective. As a wife and a mother, Jessica understands firsthand the complexities of family life, which is why she loves working alongside parents to help them find ease and confidence in their parenting journey. She believes in empowering families by sharing the knowledge she has had the privilege of learning and applying both professionally and personally. Jessica’s goal is always to equip parents with the tools and insights they need to support their child's growth in meaningful ways and to deepen their family connections. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Human Kinetics and a Master of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy, both from the University of Ottawa. Fluent in both English and French, she is proud to offer bilingual services to make therapeutic support accessible to a wider range of families.
